At DLZ, we have been building websites since 2003 and in that time have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge in all things web and online marketing. Along the way, we have been asked pretty much every question imaginable, but here are a selection of the most frequent.
How Much does a website cost?
The big question! The cost of a website depends on a number of factors. Our projects vary significantly in their size and complexity, but as a guide, our prices generally start at around £2000-£3000 for a WordPress brochure website.
How does a website project work?
We have honed our process over the years. We aim to extract as much information from you as possible in the early stages, so that we can create a website or online marketing plan to smash your goals. You can learn more about our process.
How long does a website take to build?
Again this will depend on the complexity and size of the website, but most of our projects last between 4-12 weeks.
Do I need a domain name?
Yes all websites should have their own domain name. We can help arrange that with you, or we can work with an existing domain.
Can you host my website for me?
Yes we can, we partner with a fast, reliable UK based hosting partner. It is important to use a quality web host to make sure that your website is online, fast and secure.
Will my website work on mobile devices?
Absolutely. All of the websites we design are designed to be responsive, which means they display effectively on all devices.
How about e-commerce / online store websites?

What is a Content Management System?
A Content Management System (CMS) is a tool that allows you to make changes to a website yourself, without using code. This means that you can edit pages, add images, create blog posts and much more.
Do you provide training?
Of course! We want our clients to be comfortable with their website and be able to keep it up to date. We provide personalised video training so that you always have it there to refer back to.
I don't want to update my website, can you do it for me?
Yes, we highly recommend taking out a website care plan. This means that we will keep your website secure, backed up and on top form. We even have packages which give unlimited content updates, meaning you can concentrate on running your business, without worrying about your website.
