Vintage Style WordPress Web Design for Burton Bike Bits
The Challenge
We have worked with Burton Bits for many years now. Their main site was still a static html website, but they wanted this to be made easy to edit. The old site was looking a little tired and so we agreed to update the look of the website but make sure it tied in the the Burton Bike Bits brand.
The Solution
Therefore the first task was to convert the html to wordpress. The site was 230 pages and so this had to be streamlined as much as possible. Once this was done, the brief was to create a vintage style which used worn textures and original illustrations and photography.
Another consideration was the search function, this had to be on the main wordpress search but also pull products from a magento website.
